Letters From Leadership
August 29, 2024
Dear SVA Community,
It is so exciting to see the halls come alive again and feel the energy of students and staff fill the school. I make it my goal to learn the names of all of our children, get to know them, make connections, build trust, and provide them with unconditional positive regard so they trust us to help them. Each student is unique, each has a different motivation to learn, and each has the capacity to lead. Our vision in preparing students to be life-long learners and honorable leaders starts with our everyday interactions with each other and the relationships we build. I look forward to getting to know all of you and for your children to know that THEY MATTER.
We want to see your children grow and learn at SVA. Know that part of this journey may come with mistakes, a bad grade, a visit to the office, or even a call from me. All of these steps are part of the process and do not define who they are or who they will become. Our job is to support them through these ups and downs and to best prepare them for their future.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. Better yet, encourage your children to do the same.
Thank you,
Javier Negrón
Upper School Principal

Babysitter Directory Form
Dear High School Families,
Our SkyView elementary families seek reliable and trustworthy babysitters. Many parents have indicated a preference for sitters within our SVA community.
If your current SkyView student is interested in offering babysitting or mother's helper services on weekends or during school breaks, please complete this form. This information will be exclusively shared with SkyView families who have specifically requested access to this directory and will not be distributed beyond our school community. Please do not add information for students that do not attend SVA as we will not be including them.
To participate, you (not your student) must provide your student's details and your digital signature, granting permission to include your student's information in the directory. You retain the right to request the removal of your student's information at any time. We will share the live directory with elementary families in the next couple of weeks. *Even if you filled this out last year, please fill out again as it is a new form.
