FAFSA CHECK LIST
To complete the FAFSA you will need the following items.
- Student and parent 2022 Federal Income Tax Forms & all schedules
- Student and parent FSA ID usernames & passwords
- Student and parent email address
- Student and parent Social Security Numbers
- Student and parent date of birth
- Student and parent savings & checking account balances
- Investments: stocks, bonds, mutual funds, CD’s, trust
- funds, money market funds, UGMA, UTMA, value of
- 529 account for student completing the FAFSA, rental
- property, real estate other than your home
- Exclude: primary home and retirement plans
- Current net worth of all businesses (value of business
- minus debt), include land, buildings, equipment, and
- inventory
- Current net worth of all farms (value of farm minus
- debt), include land, buildings, equipment, livestock,
- and grains not harvested and in storage
- Exclude: primary home
- Child support received during the last completed
- calendar year
