ALPINE SKI: The Mounds View Alpine team wrapped up their regular season last night for the final conference meet at Wild Mountain. The boys team finished in 4th place out of 10 teams! Way to go Laken Bartel on a 3rd place finish! The girls team finished in 6th place! Way to go Mustangs! Next up, Section 4 ski meet on Wednesday (2/5) at Wild Mountain.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE: Registration is now open for the Spring High School Competitive Season of Ultimate Frisbee (girls teams and boys teams). Open to all students in grades 9-12. Experienced athletes looking for cross training and new players are all welcome. Spring season practices begin the week of March 3rd. In partnership with Crutches 4 Africa and Jim Galvin, Vo-Club (Volunteer Outreach Club) is doing a drive for crutches, walkers, canes, walking boots, wheelchairs, knee scooters, leg / knee braces and arm slings.

We plan to collect these donations outside of the MAC. Look for the bin!

Auditions for the spring musical, Mean Girls will be on February 10th and 11th after school. If you are interested in performing or working backstage, go to mvtheater.org to get more information.

Are you looking to gain music performance experience while helping to raise money for a great cause? Music for Mounds View is hosting auditions from February 18-21 after school in the orchestra room. Musicians who are selected will perform at the annual Music for Mounds View Benefit concert. Proceeds from this concert will be donated to the Marit Swenson Shining Light Foundation and Minnesota NAMI. All musicians are welcome, regardless of experience level!
