Spring Term 1, Week 3
A word from Mr Broom
The third week of spring term is now over and it's been a very productive one. I've seen lots of exciting learning activities across all classes and it was a pleasure to welcome colleagues from the STARMAT to look at Science across school on Wednesday. As you would expect, they were blown away and took lots from our amazing Science provision and teaching.
Meanwhile, both Miss Mackay and Mrs Walker have been on the latest collaborative learning training and will be disseminating this to all teachers over the coming weeks. This should make our curriculum even more engaging.
Next week, the highlight is most definitely Young Voices at Sheffield Arena on Monday evening for our Y5/6s. If it's anything like last year, the children are in for a wonderful time.
Have a super weekend everyone.

Unlocking Autism for Parents & Carers 2 Day Course
FREE 2 day course for parents and carers of children and young people with communication and interaction needs.
This annual event is an opportunity to find out more about autism and gain practical tools and strategies to help support your child or young person.
Parents will also meet others facing similar experiences or with a shared interest in the topic.
Children do not need to have a diagnosis of autism in order for parents to attend. Parents need to be able to attend both days and will receive a copy of the content covered following the course.
Staff Shoutouts
Staff shoutouts are back for 24-25 and there's no better way of helping to keep our staff morale high than letting them know how you think.
Happy Staff + Happy Children = Happy Family.
If you can spare a minute or two to let someone know how great they are, it would be much appreciated, especially at this challenging time for us all. Thank you.

Regular Items - Now Echo Regulars
Following feedback from our parent governors, we've updated the way that the weekly Hungate Echo works so that it is sharper with information you need. A new newsletter, known as the Echo Regulars will contain all the most important regular information that our families may need. It has a permanent home on our website at the link below. Here you will find community events, regular reminders and key information. When I update it, I'll put a short line at the bottom of the Hungate Echo to let you know.
