As part of Scouting America, Cub Scout Pack 345 welcomes boys and girls from kindergarten through fifth grade to embark on a journey filled with fun, learning, and unforgettable experiences.

This is your chance to ignite your child's curiosity, build lasting friendships, and create cherished family memories. Don't miss out on the adventure of a lifetime! For more information, email Cubmaster Chris Stevens, or call 404 374 2115.
K–3 Science Unit Shout-outs
Are you wondering what your child is learning/doing in Science Connections? Our third grade students are still learning about minerals and rocks and have two more rotations where they can bring in up to twenty minerals in a bag or box to class. Second grade students will start learning about life cycles after a rotation or two on winter cause and effect. First grade students are learning about magnets and your Kindergartners are learning about living versus non-living things.
Upper Campus
8th grade Podcasts
The 8th grade ELA classes recorded podcasts on debates or social issues using recording equipment. They wrote their own scripts, edited their podcasts, and crafted images to put on a student created website. They all did an awesome job! We are sharing the website and podcasts here. We hope the GLOBE community enjoys listening to them. Kudos to the students who helped to create the website, they are credited in the footer of the web page. If your child chose not to participate in the website, please email Mr. Tim if you’d like to listen to their podcast.
February is Black History Month
Look out for details of upcoming activities and special BHM t-shirts in your class newsletters.
A reminder that UC carpool drop-off closes promptly at 8am
Upper Campus carpool drop-off closes promptly at 8:00am. After that time, parents/guardians must report to the Front Office to sign-in their student(s) as tardy. We ask that you please obey the signs and instructions from our staff. Left turns are not permitted when exiting the carpool drive onto Briarcliff Road. Also, please do not turn around at Mary Scott Nature park, as this backs up the flow of traffic.
Winter Weather
Please make sure you have registered to receive our school-wide text alerts. Simply text @globers to 81010. Make sure your child wears warmer clothing to school during these colder months to keep them safe and warm. Thank you.

If your child is sent home from school with symptoms of vomiting/diarrhea, please follow the '48 hour rule'. This means that you must wait until 48 hours has passed since the last occurrence of vomiting and diarrhea, and/or 48 hours after a fever breaks without the use of any Motrin (Ibuprofen) or Tylenol (Acetaminophen).
If a parent/guardian is contacted to pick up their student from school, we ask that they please arrive to collect them promptly (within one hour). Thank you for your continued support as we strive to keep our GLOBE community safe and healthy in 2025.
