Student Council Spirit Week at SATEC will be the week of Feb. 17th - Feb. 21st
The Student Council will lead a variety of activities throughout the week with the culminating assembly on Friday, 2/21.
Here are the Theme Days that the Student Council selected
- Monday, Feb. 17th- American Monday - Wear Red/White/Blue
- Tuesday, Feb. 18th - Sport/Jersey Day
- Wednesday, Feb. 19th - Wild Hair & Accessory Day
- Thursday, Feb. 20th - Neon & Bright Colors
- Friday, Feb. 21st - Grade Level Color Day
- Grades PK/K/4/8 – Green
- Grades 3&7 – Gold/Yellow/Orange
- Grades 2&6 – Blue
- Grades 1&5 – Red
SATEC Track and Field for Grades 5-8 ~ Registration Open
SATEC is excited to offer a Track and Field program again this spring for Grades 5-8.
Registration will remain open until March 14th.
Once we know the level of interest we will confirm our practice schedule. To help gain a sense of the practice commitment, last year we tried to schedule 3 practices per week with many of them held at Collins Perley. We are hoping to start practices the week of April 7th (weather dependent).
SATEC 7th and 8th Grade Baseball and Softball Registration Closes February 14th
Final Two Days to Register
Baseball and Softball Registration for 7th and 8th Grade Students is now open through February 14th. Based on the number of students registered we will then determine team configurations for the season.
Interested students are expected to have a basic understanding of the game, the ability to catch and throw a ball. Coaches will provide an opportunity for all students to participate in a meaningful manner while further developing their knowledge and skills.

The season begins the week of March 24th for all players and for baseball pitchers and catchers the week of March 17th.

Thank you for a great season. Please send uniforms back to school as soon as possible. They can be dropped off in the back office. Students should be sure to check their name off on the list when they return their uniform.

Attendance Phone Calls and Emails
We wanted to take a moment to let families know that attendance can be reported to Michelle Dow by calling 752-2600 or by email at satec-attendance@maplerun.org should your child be out sick, coming in late from an appointment or for other attendance questions that you may have.
We'd also like to remind families that when sending in notes to school to please include both first and last name of your child and the name of their homeroom teacher.

We ask that all notes sent to school for transportation changes include both the first and last name of the student and the name of their homeroom teacher.
