Principal's Message
Dear Dolvin Families,

Whichever you and your family have chosen, I hope it brings joy! As always, thank you for being an integral part of our Dolvin family. I am looking forward to welcoming your children back after break, ready to take on the final stretch of the school year with positivity and determination.
Wishing you all a happy spring break!

Shout Outs!
Congratulations Nooreen Sadiq!
Nooreen Sadiq from Ms.Campbell's 4th grade class recently represented Dolvin at the Fulton County Student Technology Competition and placed 2nd in Fulton county in the Internet Applications category. Congratulations, Nooreen!
Congratulations Fuko Miura!
Fuko's artwork, Fantasy Jungle, has been chosen to represent Dolvin Elementary at the Fulton County Schools K-12 Student Exhibition: Art Show at the High Museum. The exhibition opens April 22 and runs through May 24. There will be a celebration on May 10 from 11am- 1pm. Please see the attached flier.
Fuko always does a great job in art class and her Fantasy Jungle is wonderful! We studied the French artist Henri Rousseau and created a jungle drawing with overlapping plants and animals to show deep space. The animals were collaged into the scene so that they would appear to hide behind the plants. Paint, crayons and markers were used to add color to these mixed media artworks.
Congratulations, Fuko, on a job well done!

1st Day School Supplies!
Parents, it's time to buy your 1st Day School Supplies. I know it seems early, but before you know it, summer will be here. It's important you order your supplies before it's too late or supplies run out. Start the school year with the exact supplies your teacher requested, and give your child the confidence they need to conquer next year! Get them today before it's too late!
Atlanta United Host Dolvin - May 25th
We have an exciting opportunity to work with the Atlanta United team as they host Dolvin for the Sunday, May 25th 7pm match against Cincinnati. We have a limited amount of tickets available in Section 224 of the stadium 224 (see below for seat view photo). Order quickly, these will sell out fast!
Tickets are $32 each, no tax or fees added.
The best part... The first 50 Dolvin students and their families would be brought down to the High Five area outside of the stadium to greet the players/coach as they enter the stadium! These students will be lined up to welcome the players into the stadium and have the chance to high five, take pictures, and potentially receive an autograph from the Atlanta United players! So bring your favorite jersey, poster, and a sharpie!
How it works:
1. Purchase your tickets here and add your Dolvin students' name in the information section. Provide an email address to receive your family tickets (only one email per family).
2. You will receive an email receipt from Membership Toolkit, this is NOT your ticket.
3. Tickets will be assigned to each family in the order they are received (this may take a few days to a week depending on volume). You will get an email from ATLUTD to claim your tickets. You will need to set up an ATLUTD account, if you have never attended a match before. It will show you step by step how to do so. There will also be a link to purchase parking at the event, this will be the lowest cost to park at the stadium (prices increase the day of). There will be off site parking or Marta is an option.
4. You will receive a separate email from the Dolvin PTA letting you know if your student(s) are on the list for the experience and information about the details. This email may be closer to the event depending on sales.
*There is no guarantee that all 50 students and their families will get a handshake or an autograph, they will do their best. Siblings at Dolvin or other schools are welcome with parents/guardians to stand behind their Dolvin Student. Only immediate family members or 2 adults per child.
**Tickets are Non-refundable!! Tickets may be transferred to another person via the Atlanta United account manager, Dolvin or Dolvin PTA will not be able to handle this, please call Atlanta United for assistance at (470) 341-1500. All tickets purchased at the same time, in the same transaction, will be together, you will be contacted if otherwise. Seating will be first come first serve, in the order the purchase is received and paid. If families want to sit with other families we suggest having one person purchase all tickets in one transaction, that is the ONLY way to guarantee they will be together or close. We cannot take requests for seats. All tickets are in the same section of 224.
