Week 8:
"If everyone in your school had your attitude, what kind of place would it be?" Anonymous
Hello Panthers,
I want to thank everyone who was checking up on me during my laryngitis recovery. Current situation is a very deep voice. I could be a radio talk show host!
Our quote this week is borrowed from Mrs. Whiteside. You may have seen it on her cabinet in room 12 or on her Facebook Page this week. I didn't know she was going to post it, but I had already decided that I needed to borrow it. It's a really simple message, but attitude might be a challenge to change. We get into habits and habits are hard to break. We all know our tongues can get us in a lot of trouble or cause trouble for others. Whether it's being kind to that person that you find is difficult to be around or when we talk about our workplace. When we instead build others up and focus on the positives, we suddenly have a new outlook or attitude. Central should be a place that we want to come to and work. After all, we work with the best colleagues with the best kids around!
Thank you for helping me to finalize summatives and DPPs. Now we will be starting Formal Observations. There is a sign up, but if you haven't signed up yet, I will be sending the second round document soon for signups.
Last week was super busy, but you all did a wonderful job representing Central and hosting the events.
Let's have a great week Panthers!

Action Items and Reminders
ATTENTION!: 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Complete Acaletics Test TODAY! 9/30!
Ms. Heather Johnson is our District Science & Math Coach! You can email her and request that she come do a lesson in Science and/or Math and she will come model a lesson for you. Send her the standard and she will set up a time with you to come in and teach the lesson. Book her now teachers! What a treat and an awesome opportunity.
ACTION REQUIRED -Lesson plans should be saved in our team drive under Lesson Plans, Your Name, and in the 1st 9 Weeks Folder. CHANGE your name if you are using a Team Members Plans. If we are audited (and we will be), your plans should reflect your name. Please do not email plans to me. Upload them in the Team Drive. Many still have not uploaded their plans on the shared drive. There should be 8 weeks of plans there. Please see your team leader if you need assistance. Also, let them know they have this week to update the file, after that time I will meet with them individually. Thank you!
- Collaborative Planning notes should also be in the shared drive. Team Leaders, all you need is just a list of who is there, the date, the time and a brief description of what you planned together. These should be in your grade level folder on the shared team drive. Many of you have them and just need to upload them. See me if you have questions and a BIG Thanks to the grade levels who have this all taken care of already.
- Do not send ALL USER emails without permission from administration.
- This week you will select a time for your formal evaluation via a Doodle or Google Poll.
- Again, thank you for being on time and greeting students at the door!
- You must notify Admin if you will be out and time must go into Skyward ASAP.
- Attendance notes must be checked for daily and turned in daily.
- . Wear your I.D. Badges at all times!
- Lesson Plans should be in my Sunday night to the Team Drive. See comments above.
