Happy Holidays to Families
✨ Principal's Message
Welcome to December! Many things are happening in December at CHSPS leading up to the Winter Break (December 23, 2024 - January 3, 2025). There is a Staff Collaboration Day December 06, 2024, Christmas Concert December 18, 2024 (1:00 pm and 7:00 pm - two full shows!), field trips, Basketball and Archery stuff! After the Winter Break, Students who are writing Diplomas and Provincial Achievement Tests will be finalizing course work and preparing for their exams. Although it is a busy time of year, Christmas and the New Year are near and that means well-deserved time with loved ones. Please enjoy that time safely everyone. On behalf of the entire Staff at CHSPS, Happy Holidays!

Citizens of the Month
Triton Moore
He is always prepared for class and helps other students to do their best-an excellent partner. Makes sure computers get returned to the cart for his classmates who forget.
Kastyn Campbell
For her work with SAVY, consistently working hard, and trying her best in all her classes.
Athletes of the Month
Gavin Leslie
In Archery he always goes above and beyond with helping with set up and take down. He always tries his best, maintains a positive attitude and is always encouraging to others.
Aleah Klatt
She was a very determined athlete on the volleyball team. She was very energetic and was always asking for feedback to improve.
Senior High Boys Volleyball Team
Everyone played their role at Zones and came together to earn the silver medal.
Flagstaff Players
CHSPS students are invited to join Flagstaff Players in the show
'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'

Flagstaff Food Bank Holiday Wish List
Flagstaff Food Bank has put together an extensive list of needed items so people will know what they need and what their clients like to receive. Thank you everyone for your ongoing support of the Flagstaff Food Bank and for helping them to continue to feed Flagstaff!
There are two ways to order a yearbook for this year!

REMINDERS
2024-25 Student Verification Forms-DUE
2024-25 Student Verification Forms were sent by Battle River school Division in August need to be completed through PowerSchool. The forms need to be completed in a web browser setting (not in the APP). These forms need to be completed as soon as possible click here to complete.
User Name will be your firstname.lastname
EX: John.Smith
Followed by your password
Once you are in PowerSchool you need to go into the SchoolEngage Icon on the left hand side of the screen. When you open this and have not yet completed the forms it will say your student/s name and incomplete forms. Click on the incomplete forms link and verify or make changes as necessary and submit.
If you are having trouble accessing PowerSchool Parent Portal, please contact the office at 780-384-3817.
Private Vehicle Transportation for School Events
Reminder: In order to transport other students in your vehicle for school events you must be an approved driver. Forms are available on our website.
Those who were approved for the 2023-2024 school year are still approved to drive until the end of December 2024. You will receive an email before then to resubmit your paperwork for 2025 approval.

To report your students absence please send an email to chsps-aa@brsd.ab.ca
School Fees
School fees statements will be emailed out first week of December.
School fees are payable online using VISA DEBIT or MASTERCARD. To add a student to your account you will need their student number which is found on the statement.
