  1. All guard members need to sign an Equipment Contract in order to take equipment home. If you have not signed one, please see Ms. Younger.
  2. Pictures of the hair and makeup attempt are due to Ms. Younger immediately.

Event Information

Bands of America Austin Regional Contest

Itinerary
  • 5:00am - Band Hall Opens
  • 5:30am - Call Time for All Students
  • 5:40am - Inspection and Load
  • 6:40am - Depart Akins
  • 9:45am - Prelims Performance
  • 11:30am - Lunch
  • 4:30pm - Prelims Awards Ceremony


If we make finals we will not return to Akins until 11:45pm.

If we do not make finals we will eat dinner and return to Akins by 7:00pm


Full Formal Uniforms will be worn for this event. The new uniforms will not be in until 10/10 so this will be one of the last times the old uniforms are worn by AEB.

If you setup a payment plan on shopping day, please make sure that you stay on top of your agreement. Our program cannot function if everyone does not take care of their financial obligations.

Earn Money for Your Band Fees, Trip Payments, and Lessons

Did you know that you can work shifts at the UT Erwin Center to earn money for your fees, trip payments, and lessons? Each shift pays $35 to $75 per person depending on the event and business.


There are always shifts available and we are already needing people to work!
