On Thursday, September 5, 2024, we will have Back to School Night. Parents and Caregivers will have the opportunity to attend informational seminars and meet their child's teachers. Please read the parent letter with details about this event by clicking here.
Informational Seminars at 5:45p:

Classroom visits begin at 6:15p. Parents will follow their child's schedule and have the opportunity to learn about each teacher and the courses taught. The fastest and easiest way to view your child's schedule is online through ParentVUE. If accessing your child's schedule online is not a possibility, we will be able to print schedules at the school, but be prepared for this process to take some time.
3. Order Student Portraits
Student picture day is Thursday, September 12, 2024. You can order portraits of your child through this link. If you order photos, they should arrive approximately two weeks after photo day. Questions about Ordering? Email Victor O'Neill Studios at underclass@vosphoto.com
4. Riding a Different Bus Than Assigned
Busses are very full this school year. Students are not guaranteed to ride another bus home with a friend or for any other reason without approval from the administration of Rosa Parks. When requests notes are given to us, we contact the bus depot to ensure there is enough space to accommodate another student. Some buses are so full that no additional riders will be allowed. The following procedures should be followed:
- Send a bus note and/or email to the main office with the request to ride a different bus. The more time given for us to receive approval the better.
- The administrator will contact the depot and see if that bus has room to take an additional student. If so, we will sign the note and return it to the student. This note is given to the bus driver when they board the bus. If the request is denied, we will communicate home and to the student that the request is not approved.
- Last minute requests will not be honored.
- All students are to ride their assigned bus unless approval has been given.
5. School Musical
All interested students are invited to audition for the Fall Musical, Annie Jr!
Auditions will be held September 10th-12th. Come see Ms. Bulitt in C206 for an audition packet and bring it to first day of auditions. If you would like to be on tech, come see Ms. Bulitt for a tech information packet and bring it to first rehearsal on September 17th.
6. Fall Sports
We have three athletic teams available to 7th and 8th grade students this fall. Each student must have a current physical (within the last 2 years) and online registration. Visit the Rosa Parks Middle School website to register. Go Dolphins!
