Thanks to your support, Heights High biology teacher Leatrice Clark is now a quarter-finalist in the America's Favorite Teacher contest! Voting continues until May 16 at 10 p.m., and you can vote once per day. The winner will receive $25,000, a trip to Hawaii, and will appear in Reader's Digest.
Dr. Lin Featured in 'Teachers Honor Teachers'
The Martha Holden Jennings Foundation launched a program in 2022 inviting teachers to recognize a colleague they know is doing exceptional work in the classroom. Heights High French teacher Melha Hadjabed-Woods shared these thoughtful words about Dr. Shu Hui Lin, Chinese teacher at Heights High. Both teachers will be awarded $500 to put toward their classrooms.

The plan establishes procedures to ensure that the District's communications with persons with disabilities, including applicants, participants, members of the public, and companions with disabilities, are as effective as its communications with others.
Families, staff, students and community members may use this form to offer their suggestions, feedback and comments to Superintendent Elizabeth Kirby, or ask questions. Unless you choose to provide contact information, your submission will remain anonymous.
