Quail Call

Intent to Returns were sent out on Friday, 2/14. If you have not submitted your family's completed form yet, please do so by Friday, February 28. We need to hear from all families, whether you will be returning or not. Contact the office with questions.

The weather can change from sunshine to snow in an instant, so please be sure to send your student to school with weather appropriate clothing. Coats, snow pants, gloves, boots, and hats are staples, but often it is wet and muddy and an extra change of clothes is a good idea, as well. Dressing in layers can help too. The office has a very limited amount of extra clothing for emergencies so it is important that students who own cold weather gear bring their own.

The Wellness Program is excited to offer Spring Break Snack Packs for children who could benefit from having a few extra snacks during the break. Each pack will include a selection of healthy snacks, along with some fresh fruit items. If you would like your child to receive a snack pack, please contact tsnodgrass@palouseprairieschool.org by Thursday, February 27, 2025. Be sure to include any food allergies or dietary restrictions we should be aware of. Thank you, and we hope your child enjoys a healthy and happy spring break!

For the Love of Coffee

Landgrove and PPCS have paired up to indulge your love of coffee and support for our amazing school. You can select ANY coffee you wish using this link: http://landgrove-coffee.myshopify.com/PPCS . When you check out you will have a chance to put in your donation amount. Coffee ordered online will be shipped out as they are ordered, so your wait to indulge will be minimal. Coffee can be delivered for in-person pick-up at the end of the fundraiser, which has been extended until March 7th. March 10-14 is Spring Break so there is no school!

We have a new session of Art Camp open for registration!

Our new session will be on Monday, May 19 from 8:20 - 2:55 (regular school day hours). We have room for up to 24 students who are highly motivated and ready to access their creative sides. This cost is $20 a student, and $10 for subsequent siblings. We must receive payment in order to guarantee your student's spot. Registration is first come first served. To register, please contact the office.

Parents are welcome to attend community circles with kindergarten through 5th grade. They're held on Fridays beginning at 8:30. Each community circle celebrates an EL Design Principle.
