Glenmeade families,

We have a Fall Festival coming up Friday, October 11. Please make sure you purchase your wristbands ahead of time. Can't wait to see you there. This Monday, we will be adding 10 Fall Festival wristbands to win. We will call you to make sure you didn't already purchase a wristband. If you did not purchase one and your student chooses this reward, you can pick it up in the office. If you already purchase a wristband we can have your child choose a different reward.

Monday is the last day for the Fall Fundraiser :)

Parking lot reminders:

Thank you for using the right lane for pick up and drop off.

The left lane is for passing ONLY.

- Please help us by parking in DESIGNATED areas only. (When the Sherriff does their routine visits, you can be ticketed)

- Please park your car forward as much as you can. When the back of your car sticks out, no one can pass. 🙁

- Please do not stop in the right or left lane to watch your child go into the gate. We have staff on campus to students can enter school safely. This causes a lot of traffic on both lanes. If you would like to watch them, you are welcome to park in a parking spot and walk with your child to the gate.

• We expect all Roadrunners to separate their trash during lunch. We also expect Roadrunners to put their trash in a trash can during snack. Thank you for keeping our school clean.

YEARBOOKS ARE ON SALE!

Our Believe Kids Fundraiser starts Monday, September 23rd! With your help, we will be raising $8,000 for important items and services that are not currently funded at this time. We are asking every student to REGISTER & SHARE with 5 or more supporters to reach our group goal! We are counting on these funds for the benefit of every child. This funding does not come from other sources so your participation, at any level, is critical. Thank you for your support!

Glenmeade's Garden Club for 2024-2025

school year will be kicking off soon for 2nd and 3rd graders.

Meetings will be held most Thursdays during lunch recess.

Donations are always welcome.

(Examples: organic soil, small gloves, winter vegetable plants , and garden décor)

• Young Rembrandts ART program 2:35-3:35 p.m. - Parents must register and pay for this. This is a program that is housed at Glenmeade for the community.

We have many backpacks that were generously donated that are available for students. If you are interested in a backpack for your child, please contact our office and let them know you would like one. Backpacks will be given on a first come, first served basis.

Our brand new Fun Club building was placed right next to our new office earlier this week. Crews are working to prepare the space and we hope to open the new building to our Fun Club students beginning about September. Fun Club is our before and after school day care program. Call (909) 628-1202 ext. 8994 and they can answer questions about adding your child to the waiting list.

Did you know that FREE breakfast is available to our students from 7:20 am - 7:45 am on all school days? Having breakfast at school ensures students get a good breakfast and will be on time to school. Students eating breakfast at Glenmeade will be dismissed to line up with their class at 7:45 am.

We want to recognize our staff members who are making a positive difference in the lives of our students and families. Fill out this form to recognize a Glenmeade staff member who has gone above and beyond to help you and/or shown kindness.

Roadrunner Recognition

Last week there was a Roadrunner Recognition! Let’s give a huge shout out to… Ms. Sheri. An anonymous person shared that you go above and beyond every day. Thank you for all you do for our students.
