We recognized all our Patterson volunteers for all they do to make Patterson great! We wouldn't be the "Happiest School on Earth" without YOU! Volunteers who could not attend should check their child's backpack today for a little thank-you treat.

The Fifth Grade Sock Hop today was a memorable event! Students loved dancing and contests with our DJ, hula hoops, tricycles, and the Soda Shop!! All the 5th-grade "Ankle Bitters" thought it was "the bee's knees," "Daddy-O"!

Thank you to everyone who was able to stop by my retirement Open House! Your presence truly made the evening special and memorable for me. It was wonderful to see so many of you there, sharing in the celebration!

A special thank you to the organizing committee for their hard work and dedication in making the event perfect. And a heartfelt thanks to everyone for your kind words, warm wishes, and the delightful memories shared.

Your support and involvement throughout my career have meant so much to me, and this event was a beautiful culmination of all those years.

We still have a couple more weeks together, filled with exciting events. This weekend is Fine Arts Festival at NVHS from 9-4. We have the third-grade Wax Museum next week, RAMP Day, a PTA-sponsored student party during our last few days, the 5th-grade celebration, and the clap-off. I look forward to these moments of joy and connection with all of you.

Registration for the 2024 - 2025 school year is now open. It is important in planning classes for 2024-25, that we have accurate registration numbers. Before the end of May, all returning families should go into ParentVue and register their child for the next school year. You will be asked to pay the registration fee online, but that can be done at a separate time if preferred (2 separate processes). You may also upload any medical forms required at a later time. Please do not delay, register today!! Click on the button below, which will take you to our registration page.

If your student is not returning next year to Patterson (moving out of our district or school boundary) please fill out the 2024-2025 Transfer & Withdrawal form and return it to the office. This does not apply to our Fifth grades who are moving on to Greggory M.S.

3:15 - Fifth Grade Clap Off! Mrs. Frost will join the fifth grade to clap off at the end of the line. Anyone wishing to join the clap-off outside, please line the walk on the North side of Patterson and along the sidewalk that leads around back past bike racks. Students will exit Door 11 and walk that route to the back of the school.

Lots of happenings in the LMC as we wrap up the year!

• Information from our District Tech Department: This year we will be collecting all Chromebooks and chargers at the end of the school year for Grades 1, 2, and 5. Grades 1 and 2 will get new Chromebooks issued to them at the beginning of next year. Students in Grade 5 will receive devices next year at Gregory.
• 5th Grade Summer Math students will keep their CB for work over the summer break. You will be required to return the device to Patterson in August. Students who will be keeping their device will get more information shortly.

• Last day to check out books is MONDAY, MAY 20! ALL BOOKS ARE DUE MAY 24!
• Happy Volunteer Appreciation! We ❤ and appreciate our LMC volunteers! We couldn't keep our library running smoothly for all of our students and staff! Please stop by the LMC for a token of our appreciation-Mrs. Maly and Mrs. Fernandez.
