Dear Grizzly Families,
We wrapped up October with our amazing Trick R trunk, Bully Prevention Month and our Glacier Peak Sneak Run and Unity Day was a success! Your support and enthusiasm truly showed the spirit of our Grizzly community, and we are so grateful. Keep an eye out for a separate update soon with the latest on our fundraising efforts.
As we move into November, we’re excited to celebrate our students' achievements with our Top of the Peak Awards and focus on gratitude throughout the month. Looking ahead, we’re also starting preparations for our upcoming Winter Dance—it promises to be a fantastic evening for all.
Warm regards,
Jeanna Costa
Principal
Family Math Week
Building a strong school community is key to helping our students succeed in math. Research shows a direct link between family involvement and student progress. For easy, fun ways to support math learning at home and stay connected with what’s happening at school, check out the Math Week website.
At Glacier Peak, students use ST Math weekly—a program the district has invested in to boost math knowledge through fun, visual learning. To learn more about ST Math and find resources to support your child at home, visit ST Math Parent Resources.
Tabs = Treatment
Tap Into Kindness: Collect Tabs for a Cause!
Join us in a yearlong effort to support children in need! Collect tin can tabs at home and bring them to school anytime. Every gallon jug we fill provides a free treatment for a child at Children's Hospital. Collection containers are available near the front door and in the cafeteria. Let’s see how much kindness we can gather this year!
King Soopers/City Market Rewards Program
Please encourage friends and family from far and wide to put Glacier Peak Elementary as their King Soopers/CityMarket group.
Easy way to help us raise money! Help raise thousands of dollars just by shopping for the things you were already going to buy. If you shop at King Soopers or City Market link your account to Glacier Peak Elementary Community Rewards program.
This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations, like GPE, based on the shopping you do every day.
All you need to do is link your King Soopers Shopper's Card. When you put in your number when checking out, the school gets money from Kroger.
All you have to do is shop!

Share this with family and friends across the country. It works at ANY King Soopers or City Market in the USA
We have a No Cell Phone Policy here at Glacier Peak
Cell Phones need to be powered off and kept in backpacks.
