I think that the hardest part of this time is figuring out what people need. I have been trying to keep newsletters short and sweet. All of you have plenty to do with your families, students, and other outside requirements. I have been trying to keep that in mind with our students as well. Not long after all of this started, I decided to have a photo scavenger hunt on Instagram. I got the idea from a fellow library account. She had pictures posted for every challenge. I tried it and did not have a single picture sent to me. Here is what I learned from that experience.
1. It isn't about me. It is about what the students need right now. Obviously, they did not need a photo scavenger hunt.
2. Somethings are best done in person.
3. I will keep doing the little things to stay in touch with you and with our students.
