Happy Holidays and Winter Break!
December 23rd, 2024

Dear Runkle Families and Staff,
As 2024 draws to a close, I reflect on a busy and fulfilling month at Runkle School. Our community has been filled with activity, hosting numerous events including work shares, Snuggle and Read, bake sales, gingerbread house decorating, and musical concerts. We celebrated our Kindergarten Readers with an exciting parade, showcasing their achievements and fostering a strong sense of pride. The door decorating extravaganza was a huge success, culminating in an amazing all-school assembly on Friday.
.
Runkle is a truly special community. In my tenth year as an administrator, I continue to be impressed by the professionalism, engagement, kindness, and empathy demonstrated daily by our staff, students, and families. The support I received from this community following the loss of my father in November provided invaluable comfort during a difficult time.
I look forward to a happy and healthy 2025 filled with new opportunities for learning and growth at Runkle. We are committed to keeping families informed and engaged, beginning with student and family workshops on cyber safety and responsible cell phone use in February. Further details will be shared soon.
Please enjoy some pictures from last week!
Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a wonderful New Year!
See you all on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025,
Donna
Thank you Runkle Student Council and Ms. Dailey for all your incredible work planning a Mitten Drive, Assembly, and Spirit Week in December!
