Principal Letter
Dear Northridge Community,
This week’s letter is a bit shorter than usual since we've been busy gearing up for conferences and spring break. With all the preparation, there hasn’t been quite as much happening around school—but we do have something BIG to celebrate!
A huge congratulations to our 3rd & 4th grade Battle of the Books team! They won the Highlands Ranch Semi-Finals and then went on to win the Highlands Ranch FINALS on Tuesday night! Now, they’re advancing to the District Finals on Wednesday. Way to go, team! We are incredibly proud of you and sending lots of luck your way!
Tonight is the PTO Family Dance, and I couldn’t be more excited! I hope you’re all planning to join in the fun—I even wore my dancing shoes so I can "dance all night to the best song ever!" It’s sure to be a fantastic evening for everyone.
We are gathering boxes of cereal to help “Knock Out Hunger”! Once all donations are collected, we will line the boxes down the hallway and create a giant domino effect to symbolize the impact of our efforts.
A huge thank you to everyone who has already contributed! So far, we have about 40 boxes, but we’d love to collect enough to stretch all the way down the hall.
Donations will be accepted until Friday, March 14th, so if you’d like to participate, there’s still time to help us make a difference!
On a personal note, I had a blast skiing last weekend with my friend from Texas. It’s funny how you think you're a bad skier… until you ski with someone who only skis once a year! She was a great sport, even if she did leave with a few extra bruises. And no, I didn’t manage to convince her to move here—yet!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
Smiles,
Erin
