Dear Dewey Middle School Families,

Happy New Year! I hope this letter finds you well and that your holiday season was filled with joy, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones.

Here are a few key updates and reminders for the month of January:

1. End of Semester Grades: Final grades for the first semester are available in Infinite Campus. Report Grades will be mailed January 14th. Please review these with your student and reach out to teachers if you have any questions or concerns.

2. Winter Weather Preparedness: With the potential for inclement weather, please make sure your contact information is up-to-date in Infinite Campus. This will ensure you receive timely notifications about school closures or delays.

3. Upcoming Events:.

• Johnson O'Malley Meeting: There will be a Johnson O'Malley meeting on Tuesday, January 14, at 6:00 PM. It will take place in the Elementary Library. If you have a Native American student in Dewey Public Schools, please plan to attend.

• Martin Luther King Jr. Day: There will be no school on Monday, January 20, in observance of this holiday.

4. Attendance: Students are not allowed to miss more than 8 days per semester. Please always call the office and notify us if your child is going to be absent. 918-534-0111
