PreK-5 Curriculum Updates

Welcome back to school! I appreciate all of your outstanding efforts to help our students transition to remote learning. As a team, our three big rocks include: Relationships, Social-emotional learning, and being intentional with our instruction. SNAP PORTFOLIOS:

• We are not ordering SNAP Portfolios for the 20/21 school year due to COVID.

PROGRESS REPORTS/REPORT CARDS:

• You may download a copy of the Progress Reports for grades K-3 using the PDF link below.

The AIR Testing Portal has changed to the Cambium Assessment Portal. Please use the link below to request a new password.

We have a testing calendar for the 20/21 academic year, but it is subject to change based on our mode of learning. We are waiting for further guidance from ODE before we administer assessments in a remote manner. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Shannon Gwozdz, Title I Coordinator, will be sharing information about the items listed below over the next few weeks. ODE is still requiring districts to administer K-3 Diagnostics and fulfill RIMP requirements.

• ELA & Math Priority Standards have been updated for the 20/21 academic year.
• Reprioritizing the standards ensures that we focus deeply on the major work of each grade level so that learners can gain strong foundations and solid conceptual understanding.
  
• Please note changes: ELA ONLY

• Deleted RF.1 and RF.2 after grade 1.

• Deleted W.9 from grades K-3.

Career Adventures is an online suite of ready-to-use project-based lesson plans that includes ALL the resources you’ll need to teach engaging career-focused lessons.
