The Weekly Update #4
August 23rd, 2024
Message from Mrs. Silva
Dear Bearcat Families,
As we welcome the month of October, it's hard to believe how quickly time has flown. I, for one, am looking forward to the arrival of cooler weather and the vibrant colors that autumn brings.
September was a wonderful month for our school community. We had the pleasure of celebrating our Grandparents and Grandfriends, where students enjoyed the opportunity to show their special guests around the school, participate in games, and share refreshments.
Additionally, we celebrated Pioneer Reunion and Pioneer Day, where students participated in a variety of engaging activities, including hayrides, live music, and cattle roping.
October is National Book Month, a time dedicated to emphasizing the importance of reading, writing, and literature. One way to observe this celebration is by reading to your child at home. Regular reading can enhance memory, improve focus and concentration, reduce stress, foster empathy and creativity, and support cognitive development. We encourage you to read with your child for at least 20 minutes each day to help them on their educational journey.
Thank you for your continued support.
