Dear Everitt Families:
We sure missed our wonderful 6th graders while they were gone to Outdoor Lab this week. We received incredible reports from both sites that all of our 6th graders did a wonderful job engaging in this unique and engaging learning opportunity. They came back looking more independent, self-confident, and somehow more grown up, too. They are going to be tired tonight, 6th grade families. A warm meal and a good night's sleep are definitely in order. Enjoy the photos below!
Our theatre students had two fun field trip opportunities this week. On Thursday, our theatre, musical theatre, and theatre guild students took a field trip to Wheat Ridge High School to see The Play that Goes Wrong. They had the best time at the show and learned a lot from the high school students during the talk back. If you're looking for something fun to do this week, all who attended would recommend going to see the show. Today, several of our students participated in the Jeffco Theatre Festival where they participated in workshops and got to know theatre students from all over the district.
Remember that there is no school for students on Monday. Our staff will be engaging in learning about academic discourse and spending the day planning amazing learning opportunities for students and grading student work throughout the day. See you all on Tuesday!
Thank you for supporting and believing in your neighborhood school. It is our privilege to partner with you!

Your feedback will help us improve the enrollment process and provide programming that best meets your family’s educational needs. Hazel Health Message
Dear Everitt Families,
Mental, social and emotional wellness of students is a priority that we share with our community and one that we are addressing with layers of support including school counselors, social emotional learning specialists, school psychologists, social workers along with partnerships with outside agencies like Hazel Health.
This year, we continue our partnership with Hazel Health’s Telehealth services to provide a free telehealth extension of mental and physical health support for Jeffco students enrolled at district-managed schools accessed at home with a parent/guardian. Charter school families should connect with their student's school to learn more.
Parents/guardians may access these services on behalf of your student by visiting this webpage and following the instructions for – Steps to Access Care.
Why Should Families Take Advantage of Hazel Health Services?
Our priority is for students to be healthy and ready to learn. Hazel Health connects you with healthcare providers through virtual telehealth, so your student can get the care they need from your home.
Quick and easy access to a self-referral system with minimal or no wait times.
If your student is suffering from anxiety, depression, grief/loss, bullying, academic stress or more, Hazel Health therapists can help them!
All Hazel Health providers serving Jeffco students possess the appropriate Colorado credential for their profession, whether to practice medicine (i.e. medical doctor, nurse practitioner, or physician’s assistant) or provide mental health services.
We encourage you to take advantage of these no-cost Hazel Health Services for your student’s well-being. You can access this service right now by visiting our webpage to learn more and begin the referral process.
Let’s work together to ensure our students have a happy and healthy school year.

QPR Training for Parents & Caregivers
Attend a Life Saving Training. Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to:
- recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis
- how to ask someone directly if they are feeling suicidal
- how to refer someone to help
This session will be delivered with parents and caregivers in mind. While the information taught in this training is applicable to all people of all ages, we will spend extra time focusing on how this applies to the youth in our lives.
