Greetings Families,
Another super week at PHMS. Students are working hard to complete their assignments and a lot of learning is taking place. We completed all our our safety drills for the first semester and are ready to begin our clubs this upcoming week. Attendance has been outstanding, thank you! NJHS members planned a Spirit Week at PHMS-check out the picture above!
LET'S GO PIRATES! Our girls and boys basketball teams begin their season tonight. Let's all come support our teams tonight and cheer them on along with our PHMS cheerleaders. Our cross country team runs tomorrow too!
Please note that only players and cheerleaders are allowed to stay after-school on game days. All other students must go home and return later for the game. A parent or adult chaperone needs to accompany students coming to watch the game. All students are expected to sit in the stands, watch the game, and cheer on the Pirates. If students are not following these expectations, they will be asked to go home by the district supervising administrator.
ICU UPDATE: Over 235 missing assignments have been completed since we started the ICU program. 77 missing assignments are on the list. If your student has missing work, please encourage him/her to get this work completed over the weekend so we can start the week off on the right foot! I'm so proud of all the hard work our students are putting into their education and the encouragement you are giving them. Tutoring is available every Wednesday until 5:00.
