SMS Library Staff Resources

For the December Library Challenge, students are encouraged to participate in Winter Break Book Bingo. From December 20th to January 7th, read books to match the criteria & try to create a BINGO! You can use the same book for multiple categories! For example, a book that is less than 100 pages can also be a picture book, a book you read to a sibling & a book that you read in one day. Turn in to Mrs. Duke in the library by January 9th to be entered into the prize drawing! Get a blackout & double your entry into the prize drawing! There will be 6 winners!

• December 8th: Winter Dance
• December 9th - 13th: Library Holiday Hunt (Bulldog Blocks Only)
• December 18th: Harry Potter Trivia
• December 20th: Early Release @ 1PM
• December 20th-January 7th: Winter Break Book Bingo
• January 6th-7th: Staff PD/Work Days
• January 8th: 3rd Grading Period Begins
• January 9th: Winter Break Book Bingo Due
• January 10th: Winter Break Book Bingo Winners Announced
• May 5th - May 9th: Spring Book Fair
