Miners in the Middle
October 19, 2024
Week of October 21st - 26th
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing Fall Break! Thank you to those who came to Parent-Teacher Conferences last week. If you were unable to attend, progress reports will be sent home with students on Monday, so please be on the lookout for those.
In the near future, we will be holding yearbook picture retakes. Once the date is finalized, we will notify you.
This week, we are excited to kick off Red Ribbon Week on Wednesday! Throughout the week and next week, we’ll have themed dress-up days, contests, and an assembly this Friday. Red Ribbon Week is a valuable opportunity to educate our students on the dangers of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and other harmful substances. We encourage all students to participate and join in the events. We will have prizes!!
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to ensure the success and well-being of our students.
Sincerely,
Nicole Green
Principal

Classroom Expectations
These are our school-wide expectations for our students. Positive behavior fosters an environment where ALL students can learn and grow. It is our hope that our HMS families will discuss our school-wide behavior expectations and encourage positive behaviors at school and home.
Common Areas Expectations
Our school-wide expectations extend beyond the classroom. It is important that students also realize they are accountable for their behaviors in the hallway, cafeteria and at all school sponsored activities on and off campus.
