Deposits will be made to the account and meals subtracted. Parents may check balances and make deposits online at www.myschoolbucks.com. To register, the student’s birth date and ID number are needed. Students may bring a cold lunch and purchase milk for 55¢. Milk purchases will be deducted from the account.

Parents with students qualifying for free or reduced meals will need to complete the appropriate forms and submit them to the office. Forms are located on the MPS website, under the Food Services Department. You may also contact the office for copies of the Free and Reduced Pricing Forms. See more information linked here: https://www.mpsomaha.org/departments/food-services
A copy of the lunch menu is sent home on a weekly basis in the Lion’s Roar.
Students who choose to eat hot lunch at school will not be permitted to bring outside food or drinks into the lunchroom. This includes drinks such as Gatorade, pop, chocolate milk, etc., as well as any chips, candy, or other snacks. If a student has an outside food or drink item with their school lunch, they will be asked to return the item to their backpack.
No nut items are permitted in the cafeteria at any time. Students with nut items in their lunchbox (peanut butter sandwich, trail mix, etc.) will be moved to the office to eat their lunch. A staff member will call parents to remind of our school policies.

ROAR skills are practiced in the classroom during a Morning Meeting. All staff members are on the lookout through the week for students to be practicing the weekly skill. Students who demonstrate the skill of the week may earn a ROAR ticket and be entered into a weekly grade level drawing.
Please take some time each week to review the ROAR Skill of the Week with your child!

iPad Protection for your Student
Dear 3rd-5th Grade Norris Parent/Guardian,
During online registration, you indicated you were interested in participating in the Millard Public Schools iPad Damage/Loss Cooperative Program. You are receiving this reminder to pay the $15.00 fee in order to take full advantage of this program. This program is optional. However, we want to make sure our families are completely informed. If you have already sent in your payment or paid online, thank you!
If your child brings home his/her iPad and it is lost or damaged, you will be responsible for the full cost of the replacement or repair of the device if payment for the iPad Damage/Loss Cooperative Program has not been received prior to the loss/damage. In other words, payment into the program is not retroactive.
Students who are not enrolled in the program do not have the option to bring their iPads home overnight.
Nonpayment before the deadline of Friday, September 13th, will indicate your choice to opt-out of the program. If you choose to opt-out now, you can join at a later time with the understanding that $15.00 must be paid to the school before program benefits will begin.
To Pay Online:
Step 1: Log onto ParentVue: https://ne-mps-psv.edupoint.com/PXP2_Login.aspx (ParentVue can also be found on the Norris website and the MPS district website.)
Step 2: Select your student in the top left-hand corner
Step 3: Click on “fee” in the menu on the left side of your screen
Step 4: Click on the blue pay fees button
Step 5: Make your payment!
If you do not want to make a payment online, you may send a check or cash to school with your child.
Checks can only be accepted payable to Norris Elementary School for $15.00
