New! Seaholm Library's Tea Station
In a continuing effort to provide a warm and welcoming environment for learning, connecting, relaxing, and rejuvenating, the Seaholm Library has opened up our first-ever "Tea Station." All staff and students are invited to enjoy a cup of cocoa or tea -- and if you're lucky, you might even score one of Ms. Rauth's homemade baked goodies!
However, due to constraints around what our library can purchase with school district funds, we need your help! We would greatly appreciate donations of:
- Electric tea kettles
- Tea (any & all flavors -- including those opened boxes that just weren't your cup of tea!)
- Hot cocoa powdered mixes
- Sugar
- Honey
- Napkins
Thank you!

Help Ms. Rauth Support Homeless Youth
Elizabeth Rauth, Seaholm’s Media Assistant and Groves parent, is participating in her 5th Sleep Out for Covenant House Michigan.
On 11/21/2024 she is sleeping on the streets so young people facing homelessness can sleep safely. Nearly 2,000 youth seek shelter in a Covenant House bed each night. Covenant House works with each of them to create a path to independence, and offers comprehensive services like job training, education, mental health care, and legal aid, in addition to basic services like food and clothing.
If you can, please consider supporting her with a donation of any amount today. She hopes to raise $5000 and she really needs your help! Please click on the link if you’d like to donate. Thank you! https://www.sleepout.org/participant/56179
Thank you to Ms. Moton for sharing her vintage typewriter with our library.
