The Impact Aid survey is now open and available for completion in ParentVUE. All parents should complete this survey as soon as possible. Please visit the PWCS Federal Impact Aid website for more information on the importance of Federal Aid. The survey will close on December 1st.
To complete the survey:
1) Log into PARENTVUE
2) Click on ONLINE RECORDS (on top right menu bar)
3) Scroll to the "IMPACT AID" button....click it and following the directions on the survey.
ALL Porter 8th grade students who meet the 3.0 GPA requirement were offered an NJHS application on Wednesday, October 30th. NJHS APPLICATION submission deadline is November 26, 2024.
Students who are accepted, will be sworn-in at a ceremony held in December, and will participate in the club for the rest of this year.

Our "LOST & FOUND RACK" will be in the hallway next Wednesday night during the MultiCultural night, 6:30-8:00pm. Be sure to stop by and take a look! 👀 Items not claimed, by our Thanksgiving Break (November 26th,) will be donated to a local charity.

✅ FRONT DESK GREETER 2.0....Many of you will remember (pre-covid) we had parents sitting at the front hallway, opening the door for visitors. It was a great way to earn volunteer hours. NOW, we have a new opportunity...Sitting in the front vestibule/foyer area to direct visitors to the front office, once they walk through the EVOLV screener. The monthly sign-ups can be found on the Porter website under the VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES page.
✅ Front Office VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES...we've created a VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP for any miscellaneous volunteer work we have for the front office. We will keep it updated as opportunities come up...so, be sure to look at it periodically.
✅ MULTICULTURAL NIGHT...(November 13) Receive VOLUNTEER HOURS for hosting a cultural table representing your country! Use the link to SEE MORE INFORMATION.
✅ The CAFETERIA is always available for volunteers, any day between 11am - 1:45pm. Just come into the front office, sign in, and get your 'volunteer' sticker. We do ask that you work at least 1 hour.
