I am thrilled to announce David Barton has earned one of the Top 10 growth scores in English Language Arts in the Central Missouri Region. This ranking highlights the top schools that are moving student learning forward the fastest. Each day I get to witness the amount of time, energy, and commitment that goes into each of our students. It is wonderful to know it is paying off!

In addition to the David Barton teachers and staff, I would also like to personally thank and congratulate the Hannah Cole Primary team! They continue to do an amazing job preparing students to transition to David Barton. And a final thank you to the Boonville community. Your support is necessary to make what we do possible. It truly is A GREAT DAY TO BE A PIRATE!

Mrs. Thacher is in need of paper towel rolls and toilet paper rolls for an upcoming STEM project!

If you have any or can start collecting, she can use them! She will need over 400!

Each week we will share "Two Nonfictions & A Fiction" about a few of our teachers and staff. We encourage you to play along with your student and see if you can guess which of the three statements are fiction. (The answer key is at the bottom of this newsletter.)
