Morrill County Post-Fair Newsletter
2024
Thank you for a great fair!!!
Thank you all for a great fair this year! I really appreciate all of the extra efforts from the Council, Superintendents, and youth that were always there to help me sort, unload/load my car, and keep things running smoothly. I appreciate all of you for your flexibility and encouragement. I saw so many wonderful moments of older members helping younger, smiling faces, and memories being made.
As many of you saw at the fair, Ashley Fenning was helping out. She has accepted the position of Instructor of Foods, Nutrition, and Health. Her home office will be in Bridgeport but she covers the entire Southern Panhandle. While she may be able to answer some of your 4-H questions due to her previous role in Box Butte County, this will not be her primary focus in Morrill County so be kind if she doesn't know the answer! She will be in the office full time starting August 22nd as she is helping Box Butte finish up their 4-H year.
We will be actively searching for a 4-H Assistant (full time) and Support Staff person (part time) now that fair is over. If you know of someone that would be great in either role, please send them my way!
Again, thank you all for all you did to make this a great fair!!
~Sarah
