Weekly update for Peirce Middle School

Dear Peirce families,

Come witness history in the making at the "Battle in the Borough" on Tuesday, April 15 when Henderson, Rustin, and East High schools clash for the first time in girls flag football. Game time is 7:00 p.m. and the location is Henderson's Schramm field.

Also, as reminder, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are full days of school. Spring break will begin on Thursday, April 17 and we will return to school on Tuesday, April 22.

Akash Vadali Receives Honors at the Crescendo International Music Competition

Akash Vadali, a Peirce 8th grader, won first place for his Violin Solo at the Crescendo International Music Competition which was held at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Additionally, he won second place in a trio, and earned an invitation to participate in an international student exchange program this summer in Japan, Finland and Germany. Congratulations Akash on a job well-done!

Brandywine SPCA to host annual Walk for Paws on Saturday, April 26

Get ready for a tail-wagging good time at Brandywine Valley SPCA's annual Walk for Paws on April 26, 2025, at West Goshen Community Park in West Chester, PA, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.! They are actively rallying the community to support our lifesaving efforts and would love to count on your help in making this year’s event a huge success. There’s still time to get involved – we’re currently looking for vendors, walkers, runners, and sponsors. Please click for more information.

Henderson High School Boys Lacrosse to hold youth camp

Henderson Lacrosse will hold their 2nd annual lacrosse camp July 14-17th for players in grades 3-8 (rising 9th grade). No experience is required! Henderson Boys and Girls Soccer to offer Summer Camp
