New Mural Unveiled During PASD Art Show
Last week, PASD hosted its annual art show at PAHS. Student work from all over the district was displayed throughout the hallways for all to enjoy. A special part of the event was the unveiling of the latest work from PAHS's talented Mural Arts class under the direction of Ms. Lees. The ribbon was cut on the large project, which depicts an underwater scene and highlights the district's theme of "You Belong Here." Amazing work by amazing students!
SUMMER PROGRAMMING AT PAHS
We are very pleased to provide a high school Summer School Academic Program located in the school district. High school students will have the opportunity to take academic courses for original/recovery credit and participate in 9th grade bridge programs (must meet criteria) to prepare them for higher level courses. Grades will be issued for these courses and attendance is necessary. I encourage you to consult your school counselor should you have any questions regarding a summer school course.
Summer program courses, dates, locations, costs, and general information can be found online and registration is available for all students in SchoolPay. You have to register and add summer programming to your cart to be charged. If you do not register you are not charged for summer programs. PAHS EUROPE TRIP 2025
Are you interested in traveling on the PAHS spring break trip to Europe? Next year, we will be going on a classical adventure exploring Italy and Greece. Click here for more information and to enroll: https://my.passports.com/login?g=AWEINSTEIN2025
We only have 19 spots available. International experiences are extremely beneficial for high school students. What better way is there to learn about the cultures and people of the world than experiencing them firsthand? Traveling abroad is a constant educational experience. By interacting with people from another culture, visiting historical sites, and observing new places, you will be exploring and learning every step of the way. Even your meals will be a dip into another culture! When your classroom is the world, you'll learn more than you ever could studying within just four walls. Research has shown that travel increases gains in academic content knowledge and is also an important investment to enhance your academic performance in the future. An overseas trip can be quite the motivator for students. The educational benefits to traveling abroad are endless. Plus, you'll have the adventure of a lifetime along the way! Contact Mrs. or Mr. Weinstein for more information. weinsteina@pasd.com or weinsteind@pasd.com.
We look forward to traveling with you.
