September Updates
September came in a hurry! I hope you enjoyed the long weekend and are ready to get back to work. Lots of learning has been happening on campus. 6th grade band had a great turnout for parent night and PTO has their first meeting this week. I've seen lots of students in the library and using our collaborative spaces as well as enjoying some of our flexible seating options throughout the building. Parents, thanks for helping us get our morning and afternoon routines ironed out and for sharing your kids with us! Also, a HUGE thank you to those who donated items for our recess area and microwaves for the cafeteria! Our students have appreciated your generosity!
It's Always a Great Day to be a Jim Ned Indian!

Morning Drop off and Dismissal Reminders
Thank you for being patient and helping us get more of our routines going for morning drop off and dismissal!
Reminders for Morning Drop Off - Please pull up when dropping students off in the morning to allow for more students to exit vehicles at a time. This helps to keep our traffic build up to a minimum in the mornings. When leaving morning drop off, please follow the directional signs and exit to the north (left) from the drop off line.
Reminders for Dismissal: Please continue to enter through our turn lane at the northwest entrance. Vehicles trying to enter from the opposite direction, or trying to bypass the turn lane are stopping the flow of traffic and causing concerns for our buses and others trying to get through.
*Please remember all parent drop off and pick up is done on the north side of the building (the back). If you are picking your student up early, they need to be picked up before 3:30. If buses are present when you pick up your student, you will be asked to wait until they have left. This if for the safety of all.
*Parents, please remember to bring your Drivers License with you when picking up students early - thank you!
Bus Rider Expectations
Please communicate with your student and their teacher if their way of getting home changes. We try and have all notes delivered by 3:00pm each day.
If your student is a bus rider, please continue to remind them of their behavior while on the bus. We want to keep everyone safe. Behavior concerns on the bus are reported back to student's home campus and consequences will be given. After their second bus offense, a student will be suspended from riding the bus for a period of time.
