No School Tomorrow - 4 Day Weekend: There will be no school tomorrow & Monday. Tomorrow is a teacher workday and Monday is Memorial Day. Enjoy the 4-Day Weekend.

We would like to thank all parents and family members for attending the "Lunch with a Loved One" event today. Your presence made the occasion truly special, and it was heartwarming to see the joy and connection shared between you and the students. Your support and involvement mean the world to us, as it reinforces the sense of community and partnership that is essential for our school's success. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to be with us and create cherished memories.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness and understanding about mental health issues. At DuJardin, we recognize the importance of supporting the mental well-being of our students, families, and staff members. Click here for more information.

The Bloomingdale School District 13 has launched an innovative program, District 13 CARES (Community, Advocacy, Resilience, Engagement and Support) In cooperation with the Illinois Department of Health and the DuPage Regional Office of Education, Bloomingdale District 13 schools have been awarded grant funds to improve our students’ access to quality mental health services throughout the community.

Any student, sibling and/or parent/guardian from the district can receive treatment services at no cost for up to 8 treatment sessions.
All clinicians providing treatment will be staffed with independent local health professionals not affiliated or employed by the District.
Information shared during these sessions constitutes patient/provider confidentiality and will not be shared with the school district except in emergency situations where appropriate.

😎 Summer Basketball Camp 🏀

Dear Parents and Students:

Summer 2024 Basketball Camps are quickly approaching.

Camp will be held the weeks of:

JUNE 10th-13th and JUNE 24th-27th (Monday-Thursday) @ Erickson Elementary School

The camps this year are going to be the same format as in years past, and continued to be ran by Mrs. Hilden (Westfield Middle School, PE Teacher) but the payment will be made to the Bloomingdale Park District. See this information page for details. Flyers will also be sent home with your child.

Please register online at www.bloomingdaleparks.org or in person at Bloomingdale Park District. Spots fill up quickly so please try to get registered as soon as possible. Registration begins APRIL 4th. Any questions please email Kelly Hilden at khilden@sd13.org.

As the District moves to a new registration portal (Alma) for the 2024-2025 school year, ALL families (New and Returning) will be required to prove residency. Previous documents submitted are not able to be transferred to Alma.

In the meantime, please reference the proof of residency documentation below to start compiling the necessary documents.

Calls home from the Nurse:

Phone calls home are warranted in the event of a head injury, minor or major
All in school sickness including fever of 100.4 (oral) or greater, vomiting and/or diarrhea

Please prepare to keep your child home until:

Fever-free for a full 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication.
Vomiting and diarrhea has ceased for a full 24 hours

Please refer to the General Health Guidelines which can be found on the district website

How: Print out this form, form are due 2 weeks before the birthday.

Cost: a $5 minimum donation to the DuJardin PTO
