OMS News Update
Hello OMS families and welcome to the last OMS Newsletter of the school year!
In today's newsletter you will find a multitude of resources for summer programs and free summer meals. Information about Summer Sun Bucks (formerly summer EBT) has been added. There are also several fun apps kids can download to get them out and exploring the world around them this summer!
If you have not already, please carefully read the information (in the important dates section) for the 8th grade awards ceremony to celebrate all of the hard work 8th graders have put into their middle school career! The 8th grade ceremony must be RSVP'd to, so please make sure you are clicking on those links to confirm if you are going.
We hope you all have great summers and we look forward to seeing you in September!

News From Nurse Jenny
Back to School Vaccination Requirements:
There are state mandated vaccine requirements for all SPPS students entering Kindergarten, 7th and 12th grade. SPPS Online students are NOT exempt from this law. Please submit the needed immunization information (documentation of the vaccinations or documentation of a medical or conscientious exemption) to our school nurse, Jenny Martineau if you have a child entering one of these grades. You can email her at Jennifer.martineau@spps.org or text a picture of the documentation to 651-419-1219.
Summer is a great time to make an appointment for a well child checkup and to make sure that everything is up to date on your child’s vaccines.
For further information regarding these requirements, or to document a medical or conscientious exemption, follow the links below:

Please contact Contact Nurse Jenny if you want more information on any other health related topic at 651-419-1219 or Jennifer.martineau@spps.org
