COLLEGE WEEK ACTIVITIES

STUDENTS 2022-2023

Monday Sept. 12th: Kick off college week. Students, wear your favorite college jersey.

Tuesday, Sept. 13th: Teachers will share different college/career experiences with students during their Advisory class each day.

Wednesday, Sept. 14th – Friday Sept. 16th: During Storm I& E, students will have the opportunity to choose various activities that teachers will be hosting. Student will be able to sign up for these activities on Monday during their advisory time.

Thursday, Sept. 15th: College Cap Day! Wear your favorite college cap.

Friday, Sept. 16th: Steps to the future. Students will wear Lone Star/Wakeland jersey’s or colors to support their feeder high schools. Students will complete an activity during their Advisory time.

Fight songs will be played all week during passing periods.

College facts will be given out over the announcements each day!

You can wear your favorite team cap any day, just turn it around and wear it backwards! The FISD student handbook states…. any head covering is permitted, but can not conceal all or some portion of the face from clear view.

What: Shopping all day or exclusively for Cobb families (6-7pm)

Know someone looking for work? Cobb family and friends, our district still has many OPEN positions in our service departments such as maintenance, custodial, child nutrition, bus drivers, etc. Some positions have shifts as short as three hours, all the way up to full time positions! If you know of anyone, please direct them to the FISD Website. In order to help our schools run optimally, we need amazing service staff too!
