Dear HV Families,

We had a wonderful week of celebration for our fifth graders! They had PV Park day on Monday and the recognition ceremony was this morning. Both great events! It's getting real that the end of the school year is upon us.

Please note that Monday is a full day of school and Tuesday and Wednesday are single session days with dismissal at 12:40pm. No lunch will be served on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mrs. Munro is busy finalizing the order of the talent show. We'll send that out on Monday.

Hillview News

5th Grade Clap Out

On the last day of school, we will "clap out" the fifth graders as they exit the school for the final time as HV students. The fifth graders will exit the building through the front door. Students in grades K-4 will not be dismissed until the fifth graders have left the building.

Fifth grade parents -- please arrive by 12:25pm for dismissal and wait by the front doors. The students will line up and make their way through the building at approximately 12:35pm. This only takes a few minutes and they'll exit the building as soon as their final tour is complete.

K-4 Parents -- Kindly allow the fifth grade parents space near the front doors for photo opportunities. Once the fifth graders exit, the rest of the students will be dismissed through their regular doors.

If you are interested in ordering school supplies for next year, please see the information below. The kits will be delivered to the school in advance of the first day. Simply visit https://www.shopttkits.com/ enter account number 48646 and choose your child's grade level for the 2024-25 school year. Please know the deadline of June 21st cannot be extended and is set by the vendor. Please feel free to call the main office with questions.

HV 60th Anniversary Magnet Sale

In honor of Hillview's 60th Birthday this year and our new mural in the APR we are offering a commemorative magnet. Magnets are $5 and will be sent home with your child 6/17.
