Warhawk Family Newsletter
March 9th

From the Principal's Desk
Dear Warhawk Nation,
As we step into summer, I hope you are finding time to recharge, reflect, and celebrate all we’ve accomplished together. This school year was filled with growth, learning, and countless achievements that make me proud to be part of this incredible community.
This summer, I invite our teachers and staff to lean into opportunities to expand and refine their craft. Professional development is a powerful way to elevate our instruction and ensure we’re giving every student the very best. Let’s embrace new strategies and ideas that will strengthen our classrooms and inspire our students.
While the campus might feel quieter with students away, the energy here is anything but! Construction crews have been hard at work transforming our school into a space that reflects the future of education. Modernized classrooms, collaborative learning areas, and innovative features are coming to life before our eyes. Check out the latest construction updates in the newsletter to see the progress — it’s truly inspiring to witness this transformation that will benefit our students and staff for years to come.
We’re also excited to see so many students taking advantage of credit recovery opportunities this summer. Over 100 students have already jumped in, working hard to stay on track. If your child still needs to complete credits in English, math, science, or social studies, please connect with Ms. Purcell or Mrs. Sinatra as soon as possible. It’s not too late to make progress and set the stage for a successful year ahead!
This is a season of renewal and progress, and I am grateful to each of you for the dedication, passion, and partnership that make Seminole High School a place where every student can succeed.
Enjoy the well-deserved rest, explore new learning opportunities, and soak up the moments that make summer special. I look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for an extraordinary year ahead.
With appreciation,
Alana Brown

Self-Reporting Systems
Say Something
Pinellas County Schools has partnered with Sandy Hook Promise to offer the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System. Say Something allows you to submit secure & anonymous safety concerns to help identify and intervene upon at-risk individuals BEFORE they hurt themselves or others. Tips made to the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System are passed along to the appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials.
Fortify FL
Additionally, the district utilizes FortifyFL, a school-related suspicious activity reporting tool that allows Florida students and the community the ability to instantly relay information anonymously concerning unsafe, potentially harmful, dangerous, violent or criminal activities, or the threat of these activities, to the appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials. FortifyFL was created and funded by the 2018 Florida Legislature as part of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act.
