Principal's Message
Hello Alder Families!
Happy last week of school. What an amazing school year we have had here at Alder. This year has been filled with growth, achievements, and memorable moments. From convocation where students had an opportunity to foster relationships, to learning new content, to sports, clubs, dances, spirit week and an amazing musical production. We had an incredible academic journey.
This week we celebrated our 8th grades. On Monday night, our students along with Fernwood joined together during our annual 8th grade dance. It was an unforgettable evening filled with joy, laughter, and celebration. We even had a special guest joining in on the fun. Thank you to Mighty for coming to dance the night away.
On Wednesday, we held our 8th grade Moving Up Celebration. It was a heartwarming event celebrating our students' journey from middle school to high school. Many students received awards for their accomplishments while at Alder. The awards recognized a variety of accomplishments in academics, athletics, and character, perfect attendance and Pathway to Biliteracy. Congratulations to our 8th graders that are moving up to High School, continue to SOAR and make Alder proud. 🦅
Thank you to our students, parents, staff, and volunteers for making this year a success. We wish you a joyful and restful summer break and look forward to welcoming you back in the fall.
