Library Books
Mrs. Haas would like to ask you to help your child find and return all overdue library books. She sent a notice home this week letting you know what book(s) your child needs to return. You may need to help search in bedrooms, old backpacks, on shelves or in your car to find lost or misplaced books. If a book was lost or destroyed due to flooding, please let us know and we will not charge a replacement fee. Thank you for your help.
Time Change
Sunday, November 3
Don't forget to "fall back" an hour and change your clocks this Sunday!
Morning Car Line Reminder
Just a reminder in the morning, when there are cars behind you, please don't stop at the front door to drop off your child, but continue driving until the end of the awning. Our school is the only elementary school that allows students to be dropped off at 7:15am so our parents can get to work, and we want everyone to get to where they need to go quickly and safely. When you drop off at the front door, it backs up all the other cars. Please help us with this drop off direction so our car line car line can run smoothly. There is a teacher at the end of the awning on duty at 7:30 when it starts to get busy. Thanks!!
Front Door Star and Sign ****NEW
In an effort to reduce frustration and confusion on how to enter our building, we have created a step by step process to help get you into the office quicker so we can better help you. See the pics below:

Veterans Day Program
Thursday, November 7
We will be having our Annual Veteran's Day program on Thursday, November 7th at 1:30 in the gym. Our 5th grade students will be singing and it will be a wonderful event to honor all of our Veterans in the community. If you have a family member that is a Veteran, please invite them to come. Also, if you know anyone in the community that are Veterans, we would love to honor them and recognize them with this program as well. There will be refreshments for our Veterans in the cafeteria immediately following the program. All of our students will be attending the program as well.
The Check Out Process:
Every year, we have quite a few students that are checks out by their families that are in attendance. Please read the checkout process procedures for after the program ends...
Each teacher will have a clipboard sign out sheet in the gym. If you plan on checking out your child after the program, please go to your child's teacher to check them out. All students will be dismissed from the gym first and then parents will be dismissed. Your child will then go to their classrooms to get their bookbags and you can wait for them in the lobby. Thanks and we look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday!
Veteran Stars ⭐
A week ago, your child received information about how they can highlight their favorite veteran! All they have to do is return the paper to their teacher, who will turn it in to our PTO. Our PTO officers will then take the veteran's information and put it on a STAR to go on our hallway before our program! Check out the paper for more information!! We want to let our veterans know how much we appreciate them!
