Information about our program and required notifications
Title 1 Annual Meeting
The Title I room is open Tuesday and Wednesday August 27-28 from 12:30-3:30 in Room 210 (small building next to the courtyard). Mrs. Brown will be available to talk with you about our intervention programs for reading and math, as well as our program for students who are multilingual. This will encompass our Title 1, LAP, and Transitional Bilingual Programs.
Please stop by before or after your family connection meetings to learn about the program and support for your student(s).

School Improvement Planning - please contact Principal Andrea Clancy if you would like to be part of our team.
Consolidated Title I Grant. This grant provides staffing for our intervention programs. We are currently using grant funds for reading, math, and behavioral interventions. If you would like to give input on how grant funds and our program, please contact Melissa Brown or Jeff Cravy
Title I family engagement procedures are reviewed and updated periodicaly. If you would like to give input on the procedures, please contact our Title I Director Melissa Brown.

Targeted Assistance School
Helping students to reach their proficiency goals!
Melissa Brown is our intervention teacher and special programs coordinator. Melissa as well as several paraeducators provide instructional assistance to students that have been identified as needing the most assistance.
Teacher Qualifications
All parents and guardians have the right to request information regarding the professional qualifications of your child’s classroom teacher(s) or instructional paraeducators.
Conway staff are highly qualified and meet all requirements to be licensed and employed in their positions. ALL paraeducators meet or exceed the state requirements for their positions. Please see the information below if you would like to request information about your child’s teacher or a paraeducator that works with them.

Additional Notifications
Individual report cards that let you know how your child is progressing. Conway shares report cards at the end of each trimester.
Information on state and local assessments. This information is shared through emails when we have state assessments and you will receive a score report when the assessment results come in. Local assessments are communicated through report cards, progress reports, parent/teacher conferences, and through your child's classroom teacher.
Student participation on assessments. This is included in our student and family handbook each year and was shared with families on our website and through our district newsletter. You can find the handbook at the following link: Handbook
English Learner (EL)
Notification to parents of students who qualify for our English Language Development Program is sent to each parent/guardian during the second week of school each year.
