13th graders receive regular emails regarding scholarship opportunities. These are some of those opportunities as well as ones for younger students.
Michigan Achievement Scholarship
High school students and their families/caregivers looking to secure more financial aid for college are encouraged to register for an informational webinar about the Michigan Achievement Scholarship, which is a new State of Michigan scholarship program expected to impact the majority of students in the Class of 2023 and beyond!
Participants will be able to gather the following information:
- Michigan Achievement Scholarship eligibility requirements
- Michigan Achievement Scholarship award amounts
- Important action items for students and families
- Additional resources and program information

MIchigan Assured Admission Pact (MAAP)
Ten of Michigan's 15 public universities have committed to joining the Michigan Assured Admissions Pact. Beginning with the class of 2024, MAAP ensures every Michigan high school graduate with a 3.0 GPA or higher will be admitted to participating universities. MAAP is a cross-institutional effort aimed at strengthening the high school to postsecondary education pipeline and making the college admissions process more efficient and transparent.

The Acorn2Oak program is an initiative administered by Leadership Oakland, supported and founded by Oakland County, to provide grants to young individuals ages 8-18.
