Recess during Winter Months:
Dear Parents:
As the winter weather approaches, please be aware, as per district policy, the students will be going outdoors for recess providing the “feels-like” temperature is at or above 32 degrees. Please be sure your child is prepared for outdoor activities with a warm coat, a hat, scarf and gloves as necessary.
If for any reason you are having difficulty obtaining warm winter wear for your child please reach out to Mrs. Carney or Mrs. Enis who are able to provide you with resources if needed.
In general, we are not able to accommodate individual requests for your child to remain indoors without a note from their doctor.
Sincerely,
Lisa Carney, RN, BSN
Certified School Nurse
