ATTENDANCE MATTERS
Our attendance for last week was 93%. It is important that your child is in class each day unless they are ill. In the event your child does miss school, please be sure to email our attendance office. Also, please remind your child to get with their teacher about any work they missed.

CONROE ISD YOUTUBE UPDATE FROM DR. NULL
Join Superintendent Dr. Curtis Null for a live update on the Conroe ISD YouTube Channel on Tuesday, October 1, at 6 PM as he reflects on the 1st grading period and looks ahead at the exciting things to come. He will also be joined by Conroe ISD Chief of Police Matt Blakelock and Transportation Director Juan Melendez. CONROE ISD CARS & COFFEE
Join us Saturday, October 26, for our Fall District-Wide Cars & Coffee from 8 to 11 a.m. at Woodforest Bank Stadium. There will also be a designated area for an Emergency Response Vehicle Touch-a-Truck! Admission, car entry, and coffee are FREE! Roll-in for participants is from 7:30 to 8:00.

TARDY SWEEPS
We had a few Tardy Sweeps this week at Conroe High School! We have put measures in place to ensure students arrive to their classes on time. Outside of car rider traffic and late buses, there is no reason any student should be tardy. Please be sure to read the letter below for more information.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
We are incredibly proud of the success many of our teams are having and we love the way our students show up to support! I want to remind you that if your child is struggling with truancy, tardies or behavior they may be at risk of not being able to attend extracurricular activities. An Assistant Principal will contact you if your child is on the Do Not Admit list for extracurricular activities.
CISD LUNCH CHARGE POLICY
Per CISD Board of Trustees Policy CO (Local), students are allowed 15 days (breakfast and lunch) to charge their meals. This time period is allowing for families to navigate any financial challenges or apply for the school lunch program (free/reduced meals). Once the 15-day charges have expired, the policy dictates that administrative procedures be developed to address students that exhaust the 15-day limit on insufficient balances. SPIRIT DAYS
The week of September 30 - October 4 is Homecoming Week! We have a week full of dress-up fun! Please be sure to see the graphic below or watch the video so your student will be ready!!! Hispanic Heritage Month dress up will be October 7th - 10th.

HOMECOMING
We are looking forward to an amazing homecoming week including dress-up days, parade, football game and the dance! There is a flyer below that contains information about the dance. Tickets sales will be limited! Once tickets are sold out, additional tickets will not be available.
STUDENT IDs
As a reminder all students must wear their ID at all times: visible, chest level and above, on their person (not attached to a backpack or held in their hands). Students who do not have their ID will be required to purchase a temporary ID for $1. This charge will be applied to their school-cash account. You can see if your student has had to purchase any temporary IDs or any other fees by checking their school-cash account. If your student needs a new student ID, they need to go to their Assistant Principal's office so they can request a new ID.
SAFE STORAGE OF FIREARMS
Safe gun storage is critical to preventing unintentional shootings, suicide, and other tragedies. Learn more about the Keep ‘Em Safe Texas initiative and view resources at the provided link. Gun locks are also available through the Conroe ISD Police Department.

SPIRIT NIGHTS AND FUNDRAISERS
