Come out at lunch on Friday, April 18th for the Car and Bike show on the blacktop. Come check out all the fly vehicles. Categories for this year’s show are Vintage/Classic, Soccer Mom Car, Sports Car, Trucks or just competing for the Overall Best.

Clubs should know in order to advertise for your club's special events, please turn your announcement into room #205 for posting. Going forward, flyers will be hung in Eagle Hall, on the tri marquee and blue board in the quad, on the Softball Shed wall, outside room #912, and in the admin building window. All other posters will be removed.

~Counselor's Corner~

Seniors and Community Service: Reminder that you need to complete 20 hours of community service in order to graduate! Don’t let the year get away from you and then panic at the end. Please see your counselor if you need help with community service and also check out our website for more information about where and how to complete community service. Please also remember that this newsletter has community service opportunities EVERY WEEK!

Summer School and Cuesta Summer Enrichment: If you need summer school courses through AGHS for credit recovery or for initial credit (Health and PE), please click on the summer school flyer or click HERE for the flyer and form for registration. If you are interested in taking a Cuesta class due to an impacted schedule, please click HERE for the steps to registration. Click HERE for specific information on courses available to students and links with the steps to registration. NOTE: All students must have completed an AGHS COLLEGE COURSE AGREEMENT FORM with their counselor that has student and parent signatures before a counselor will approve and sign the High School Registration Clearance Form. Please see your counselor for details!

Attention Juniors! Save the Date: We are having our annual college night on April 30th from 6:00-7:30 in the Georgie O'Connor Board Room. This event is primarily geared towards juniors and their parents but all grade levels are welcome to attend. We will review college entrance requirements and you will hear from admissions representatives from Cal Poly, UCSB, Cuesta, and Hancock. See flyer in this newsletter for more information!

Work Permits

Attention all students that plan on working this year. Please submit a completed work permit request form to Mr. Coville ASAP, or email him at trevor.coville@lmusd.org. Anybody that needs their current permit extended can stop by Room 510, or email Mr. Coville as well.

AGHS Tutoring Labs

Need help with your classes, check out the tutoring labs on campus. Need a private tutor, see the counseling office for a paid tutor list.

~Attendance~

Make Sure to Clear your Absences

Clear Absences by 4pm Tuesday, 04/29/25. Please make sure that the Attendance Office is informed of the reason for any still unverified absences for 03/24/25 - 04/18/25. After that date, we will not be able to make any changes.

College & Military Visits

Seniors and Juniors planning a college/military visit should stop by the Attendance Office to pick up an Excused Absence Request form ahead of their visit. If approved, up to two days may be excused. Visits that will last longer than two days would require a Short Term Independent Study Contract to excuse the absence.
