Chamber Cabaret is happening the week we return from spring break—March 27th & 28th at 7:00 PM in the KHS choir room! Tickets are $12 and available for purchase at kleinhighchoir.com on our homepage.Enjoy incredible performances from our Chamber Choir members, and don’t forget to grab a drink or snack from our Booster Club, available for purchase throughout the evening. We’d love to see you there!

If you’d like to donate items for the event, please click the button below. Donations, including homemade treats (bagged together) and canned drinks, are due on the day of the performance. Proceeds benefit the Booster Club, which supports all Klein Choir students by funding scholarships, enhancing our choir banquet in May, and providing essential financial support to our program.

UIL is coming up next month, April 8-11, for Cantus, Bella Voce, Liederkranz, and Chorale! As we approach the end of this month, you can expect a permission slip and an information letter for each choir once performance times are confirmed.

📍 April 10-11 – Varsity UIL at Klein Cain HS (Liederkranz & Chorale)

Chorale will compete in the Celebration of Excellence contest on Monday, April 14th at the Centrum. Students will be field-tripped that day from 2nd to 7th period and will have lunch at the Willowbrook Mall. We will have and info sheet and permission slip once we return from Spring Break.

As you finalize course selections for next year, here’s some important choir info. In Skyward, select CHORAL MUSIC followed by your total years in high school choir. For example, if this is your first year, you’re in CHORAL MUSIC 1, so sign up for CHORAL MUSIC 2 next year. If you chose the wrong course, no worries—we can work with counselors to correct it for 2025-2026.

If you plan to audition for Chamber Choir, please sign up for VOCAL ENSEMBLE in Skyward. Auditions will be held in April, and counselors can enroll you in the course now via email if you have not done so. If you make the ensemble, you're all set! If not, you’ll need to work with your counselor in May to select a backup course or elective.

After UIL, we kick off Pop Show season! 🎤✨ Auditions for solo and small group performances will be held after school on April 22 and 23. There is no set theme for this year’s show, so start brainstorming a song to bring energy and entertainment to our Pop Show on Thursday, May 6!

Audition details will be posted soon in class and on Schoology. Stay tuned, and we can’t wait to see your performances!

Our booster club offers our wonderful choir seniors scholarships as they end their high school careers. These scholarships are awarded at our Choir Banquet and require an application. All application materials will be released via Schoology on Monday, April 21, and due on Friday, May 2.
