Makin Music Camp
Open to musicians of all levels, this program will give campers age 13+ the opportunity to express themselves through songwriting! Throughout the week, campers will work with music therapy staff and students that have notable music experience. They will get to learn basic songwriting techniques and how to use Digital Audio Workstations and MIDI programming and recording. With this knowledge, they will then create and produce a song to share it with friends and family at a showcase at the end of the week.
Teen Theatre Camp
Join the GCSU theatre department this summer for a 5-day professionally curated workshop which focuses on acting and stage production training! This camp is designed to offer campers age 13+ a personalized learning experience, beginning with introductions and auditions for the student production and ending with new skills in leadership, acting, and theatre tech. Friends and family will be able to view the student’s talent and skill put into action through the end of the week performance.

CPE Spotlight
Watercolor on the Golden Isles
Last month our Road Scholar coordinator had the pleasure of visiting Jekyll Island during the Watercolor on the Golden Isles program. Participants spent the week learning to express their ideas and creativity through the beauty of watercolor. After building basic skills such as color theory, brush control, and of course applying watercolor; the scholars were able to paint numerous beautiful and vibrant scenes using their newfound expertise.
