4th Grade Spotlight!
The 4th-grade class has been working very hard in their daily learning stations this school year! They work on activities, use computers, complete projects, and play games involving the math and science topics they are learning. The students work together, help each other when they are struggling, and use a growth mindset when faced with a challenge. They completed a technology Minecraft project and loved learning strategies for decomposing fractions using skittles! We received compliments from the principal this year and the station work has been featured on their class Dojo page! Ms. Luck is very proud of her students and she knows they will keep up the great work.District News

CPS Magnet and High School Lottery
Magnet, high school and out-of-neighborhood lotteries now will have only one extended application period — December 7, 2021–March 11, 2022.
Only one application may be submitted per child per school year. You may designate up to three school preferences. Applications are processed in random order by computers at CPS' central office to ensure each student has an equal chance to be assigned to first-choice schools. Approximately six weeks after the lotteries close, we will notify you of your child's placement and provide registration instructions.
For families who participated in our early Montessori high school lottery, families were notified November 30 of their school placement. If you have questions, please contact our Customer Care Center. You also may participate in the high school lottery and select a non-Montessori high school.
