Good evening and hello weekend Thompson families!

I hope that everyone is enjoying this warm and dry seasonable weather we’ve been experiencing the past couple of weeks. I can say for certain that it was very much appreciated during our first annual TMS Color-Palooza yesterday afternoon. The entire event was an incredible experience for students, staff and families alike. I want to send a huge shout out to our awesome PTO and all the volunteers who helped make this event a colossal success. Thank you, thank you, thank you for donating your time for the betterment of our community. Like my dad used to say, if you didn’t have fun, it’s your own fault (though he usually threw in a bonus word…).

Math Corner with Mrs. Zitella

Did you know that when you walk in a straight line, you are performing a “translation” of yourself? This means that you are moving without changing your size, shape, or orientation,just like how a shape is translated in geometry. Who would have thought translations would be so personal? ;)
